Ayana Resort and Spa and Rimba Jimbaran – An incredible resort with millions of pools an amazing beach and a rock bar hanging on the cliff just above the ocean. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Bali.
If you’re in Bali close to Seminyak and looking for a great place to eat, I strongly recommend Potato Head Beach Club. It’s a beautiful place to have dinner at night where you eat right by the sea lying on a sun bed, could it get better?
I’m so happy with my new sunglasses from the Australian brand ‘Sunday Somewhere’ which I got in Potato Head in Jimbaran, Bali.
Kubu beach which belongs to the Ayana and Rimba hotels in Jimbaran, is a great place to spend the day. Even though the waves were too high for swimming the day we were there it was definitely worth a visit, at least we got some jumping photos on the beach!
Black Penny Villas – Our home during our time in Ubud. An outdoor toilet and our own pool on the terrace, what is there not to like? Definitely a dream hotel.
As in the film ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ we also made a stop by Ubud for some peace and quiet in the spiritual heart of Bali. Filled with temples, rice fields and buddhas, Ubud had a lot to offer and we really enjoyed our time there.
Cutest hotel in Gili Trawangan is definitely M’adison Gilli, extra plus points for the bungalows and the pancakes for breakfast (served in your sun bed if you want!).
The first stop on our Bali trip was one of the beautiful Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan, a tiny island which you can walk around in less than an hour, a must see if you are anywhere close to Bali..
If you’re in the South of France this summer, make sure to do a day trip to St Paul de Vence and book a lunch at Colombe D’or! You won’t regret it.
Back home for a couple of hours after an amazing trip to the South of France, filled with wedding celebrations, road trips, beaches and ice cream. Now off to another adventure in Bali! See you soon!
Beach essentials White bathing suit, colourful bikini, some sun protection; hat, scarf and sun screen, plus some sandals and sun glasses and I’m ready for the South of France!
Last week was Swedish midsummer and as my English boyfriend never has experienced this before I brought him to Sweden to show him what he’s missed out on. And after all the drinking, singing and spontaneous tractor rides we took to boat over to Finland so that he got to see Helsinki and the Finnish archipelago….
