Gili Islands

IMG_0531The first stop on our Bali trip was one of the beautiful Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan, a tiny island which you can walk around in less than an hour, a must see if you are anywhere close to Bali..IMG_0543IMG_0528IMG_0855IMG_0547

  1. We just came from there in April. It really is an amazing little island.
But i have no idea, how did we manage to miss that swing!! Where is it located?

Yes it’s an amazing place 🙂 The swing is on the ‘other side’ of the island compared to where the ‘port’ is where you can see the reef on the beach, I think it belonged to one of the hotels 🙂

      1. Yes we were there, but still managed to miss it. Agrhhhh!! 🙂
Did you visit just Gili T or any other Gilis? We went to Gili Meno for a daily trip and it is totally different, very peaceful. I don’t know about Gili Air.

Ah that’s annoying.. It might not have been up then! But you can always go back to find it 😉
No I just went to Gili T, I only had 10 days in Bali in total so I didn’t have time to do everything I wanted unfortunately. I saw the island opposite to Gili T and that looked amazing, I was very upset I didn’t get to go there, don’t know which one of the other two that was. Did you travel around Bali as well?

          1. Yes. We went to Bali, Lombok (for there on 4 day boat trip to Komodo national park), Gilis and then back. We just had 18 days (you can find a full recap on our blog). 🙂

Sounds like a good trip! 🙂 I will check it out! 🙂

  2. omg! everyone posts photo of the swings in the water! How did we not find it? Where abouts on the island was it?

    1. It’s on the other side of the island (compared to where the ‘port’ is), just outside one of the hotels on the other side! 🙂

      1. Oh right! A shame we didn’t gget that far! Thanks though 🙂
